A few words about our CEO
Our CEO, Mr Stelios Siafakas, has been in Shipping and especially in the Tanker Oil & Gas Industry since 1989. He has both shipboard and office experience and has served in Senior Management &
Executive positions, setting up large shipping companies for the last 20 years. He has successfully performed projects in cooperation with large financials entities and managed Long & Short-Term
Contracts with Oil Major Companies in the Oil & Gas Industry. Also accomplished take-over of more than 160 ships, both Newbuilding and 2nd hand of various sizes, from Handy up to VLCCs from large shipyards in South Korea & Japan.
Mr. Siafakas has studied at the Merchant Marine Academy (Faculty of Master Mariners). He has also studied Shipping Law and Finance as well as Mechanical & Aeronautical Engineering.
Continuous Education, Qualifications & Certification obtained, include between others: Lead Auditor, Risk Management, Media Response, Incident Investigation, Crisis Management, Train the Trainer, Behavioral Analysis, OPEX Optimization
etc. He has also been involved in several Shipbuilding and Management Acquisition projects during the last 15 years and has participated in 3 IPOs for Nasdaq and NYSE. Active & Past Member of several Industry committees.
